I'm a veteran, data scientist, and writer who landed in Augusta after years of moving around. My background includes a PhD in Data Science and over a decade working in data analytics and business intelligence.
Augusta Life started as a directory with the hopes to centralize business information and events. But that didn't last long. Instead, I wanted to find ways to explore my adopted hometown and share what I found with others. It's become a place where I interview local business owners, write practical guides for newcomers, and document the things that make this city interesting.

This site is not a local guide or a news site. It is an outlet where I can write my experience discovering everything this city and surrounding areas has to offer. I'm a storytellers who connect with locals and share my personal thoughts and experiences.
Other Projects
When I'm not writing about Augusta, I'm usually working on side projects. Reflekt is a journaling app I built for myself where I can journal and track things. My close friends who has seen it told me I should make it open to everyone. I'm also working on a novel, though that one is taking a lot longer than I expected.
I occasionally take on consulting and development work for local businesses.
